What is 2D Photography?At Suspended Images we take your special photos and transform them into pieces of crystal art. You can send us an electronic file of your photo or drop off the photo itself to one of our many locations. Click here for locations and dates.
We can merge several photos together and create a collage of your special moments or we can create a family reunion in crystal. Photographs can be burned into crystal pieces of many different sizes and shapes. You can add that special message to create your own work of art.
3-D images cannot be created from a photograph, however we can alter, add, or remove backgrounds and objects from any photo old or new, big or small, black and white or color.

What is 3D Photography?At Suspended Images we have invested in a special camera for taking 3-D photos. There are 2 ways to achieve the 3-D result in a piece of crystal. One way is achieved with a special camera and the other way is through a process called digitization. The photos are then manipulated through a complex software program and only then can they be converted to 3-D files that the laser can read and burn into a crystal.
A photograph cannot be made into a 3-D image. Images of objects or buildings can be made into 3-D, however they must first be digitized before they can be converted to a 3-D file.
3-D photography is very special since it captures the texture of the subject and not just a slice off the front. This is the reason why when it comes to 3-D photography we are not concerned with makeup, eye shadow, lipstick or even that 5 o'clock shadow.
Many people are taken aback at first when they see a 3-D image of a person in a crystal. The image is so realistic it's almost like the subject is there with you. 3-D photography is the closest that you can come to freezing time. |
